Zella Mae Patterson, 88, of Letart, WV passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Mountain View in Ripley, WV after long illness. She was born May 3, 1936, a daughter to the late Ellis Harper and Faye Brown Harper. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, growing flowers and loved animals.

She is preceded in death by, Parents; Ellis (Faye) Harper, Husband; Delmar Patterson, Longtime partner; Thomas Christy, Sons; Michael Patterson, and Donnie Patterson, Daughter; Pamela Rayburn, Two Brothers and Two Sisters.

Zella is survived by, Daughters; Mary (Charles) Whitmore of Van, WV and Vicki (Matthew) Canterbury of Letart, WV, Grandchildren; Felicia, Jodi, Melanie, Jamie, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Michael, Joseph, Stephen and Erik; Several Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother. Zella will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with Pastor Randy Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Letart, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Monday, October 7, 2024. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
