Obituary

Worthy "Leo" Rogers, 85, of Henderson, WV, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Leo was born October 5, 1932 in Mason County to the late Worthy Earl Rogers and Margaret Ord Rogers. He was a retired warehouse supervisor at the Goodyear and Shell Plant in Apple Grove, WV. Leo served his country in the Air Force. He loved to walk with his dog Max and to raise a garden.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his twin sons, Joseph Dewain Rogers and Joseph Daniel Rogers.

Leo is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Marjorie Rogers; two daughters, Jennifer and Bennie Teague of LaFollette,TN, and Patricia and Brent Finlaw of Pomeroy, Oh; two grandchildren, Sean Teague and Tina Veverka; three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; one sister, Anna Virginia Darst of Point Pleasant, WV; three brothers, Richard Rogers of Kettering, OH, Bill and Peggy Rogers of Vienna, WV, and Charles Rogers of Washington, WV.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11 A.M. in the Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, WV, with Pastors Rick Tench and Fred McCallister officiating. Friends may visit the family on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. Please visit dealfh.com to send condolences to the family.
