Wilma Ellen Fisher, 85, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017. Wilma was born October 1, 1932, the daughter of the late Richard and Wilma Melrose. She was a 1950 graduate of Point Pleasant High School. Wilma and her husband Tom owned and operated Fisher's Department Store, Shopper's Mart, and Fisher Fundraising.

Wilma was a loyal member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant and served on many committees. She was a charter member of the Rainbow for Girls, a 50 year member and past Worthy Matron of Point Pleasant Chapter #75 Order of the Eastern Star, member of the Loyal Order of Women of the Moose #731, past President of the Junior Women's Club, and a member of the Women's Club of Point Pleasant. She was Secretary and a founding member of the Point Pleasant High School Alumni Association.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Denise Buchanan, and brother Ted Melrose.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Tom Fisher, two daughters Diane Epling and Debbie (Mike) Young, and a son-in-law, Bill Buchanan. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Tommy Epling, BJ (Amber) Buchanan, Nikki (Brandon) Roush, Travis (Whitney) Epling, and Ryan (Devin) Young. Wilma is also a proud great-grandmother to Torrie, Trinity, and Tanner Epling, Trey and Andrew Buchanan, and Havin, Brynn, and Bralee Roush, sister-in-law, Carolyn Melrose, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

Wilma's life will be remembered at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 10, 2017, at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Kelly officiating. The Point Pleasant Chapter #75 Order of the Eastern Star will conduct their rites prior to the service on Friday. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, on Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 5:00-8:00 PM, and from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at the church on Friday.
