William "Bill" Wolfingbarger, of Point Pleasant WV, passed away Sunday July 27th, 2025, at Mercer Healthcare Center in Bluefield, WV. He was born to the late Ruth (Jeffers) Wolfingbarger and William Wolfingbarger.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Jeffers, brothers, Jim, Gene and Chuck, Sisters, Sharon and JoJo, uncles Robert and Richard, aunts, Genieve and June, two nephews, Scottie, Larry Jr.,, grandchild and 4 special friends, Ronnie, RJ, Charlie and Roger.

He is survived by his father, William (Mae) Wolfingbarger, aunts, Mary, Loretta, Judy, Freda and his daughter Billie (Basil) White, two grandchildren, Ava and Little Baz as Bill called him, special friends, nephews, Jimmy, Matt, special niece, Anita and Christy along with many nephews/nieces and a host of friends.

Bill was a devoted father, son, grandson, uncle, nephew and his favorite title, "papaw". Lived in many different places including, California and Alabama. He served 6 years in the Marine Corps, He was a deckhand on the river, He worked with PTI and Alcon and his favorite job of all was working at Toyota. Before starting work at Toyota, he received his GED. Bill wasn't much into church but was a Christian and saved at a young age. After retiring he took a job at the legion, post 13 in Point Pleasant, WV. He enjoyed, hunting, fishing, playing pool and the slots where his family says he was a lucky man. He loved spending time with grandkids, sword fighting and chasing ice cream trucks were two things they enjoyed together.

William was a very loved man by all that knew him. Please keep family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
