William "Woody" Deal, 74, of Coal Grove, Ohio, formally of Glenwood, WV, passed away September 4, 2017 at Crystal Care of Coal Grove, Ohio. He was born July 8, 1943 in Mason County, WV, a son to the late William and Eliza Jane Tagg Deal. He worked as a Machinist for many plants in West Virginia and Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Loma Plumley and Cordelia Prichard and his brothers, Paul Deal, Russell Deal, Roger Deal, and Emmett Gene Deal.

Woody is survived by his Step-Son, Gerald David Ferris of Ironton, Ohio, Step-Granddaughter, Trina Ferris and Step-Great Grandchildren, Cody Ferris, Austin Payne and Nicole Payne, sisters, Pam (Robert) Ford of Castle Berry Fl, Helen Gay (Kenneth) Mayes of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Mary (Joe) Mayes of Glenwood, WV and April (Steve) Kwiecien of Seville, Ohio and several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 1:00 P.M at the Deal Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Wright officating. Burial will be in the Apple Grove Memorial Gardens, Apple Grove, WV. Friends may visit the family from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Deal Funeral Home.
