Wilford "Bill" Roscoe Scarberry, 88, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born November 2, 1936, a son to the late Johnson Samuel Scarberry and Emma Marie Grady Scarberry. Bill was a truck driver, and he retired from Jones Trucking after 42 years. He also enjoyed hunting, reading and working in his garden.

He is preceded in death by, his parents Johnson (Emma) Scarberry, daughter, Pamela Dorsey, brothers, Aaron Scarberry, Robert Scarberry and Lawrence Scarberry.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Edna "Toni" Crump Scarberry, daughter, Paula Price (Larry Hurley) of Charleston, son, Johnny Scarberry of Point Pleasant, grandchildren, Jed (Kristen) Gibbs of Charleston, WV, Cailtin Gibbs of Madison, WV, Jacob Dorsey (Jennifer Simpkins) of Gallipolis Ferry, and Tyler Scarberry of Point Pleasant, great-grandchildren, Landon Aldridge and Jocelyn Gibbs. He is also survived by, sisters, Ruth Ann (Ronnie) McBride, Betty Holden, brothers, Sam (Debby) Scarberry and Tom (Earlene) of New Haven and many much-loved nieces and nephews. Bill will be missed by many.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Deal Funeral Home with Lia Palmer officiating. Burial will follow at Graham Cemetery in New Haven, WV. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
