Wellman Lee Mayes, 76 of Glenwood, WV, passed away November 4, 2021. He was born March 17, 1945 to the late Edison and Vina (Ball) Mayes. He was a roofer and worked construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his sisters, Janice Stevens, Nancy Deal and Beulah (Ronnie) Wright, brothers, James (Mary) Mayes and Ralph Mayes.

Funeral service will be at Deal Funeral Home on Monday November 8th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Ronnie Wright officiating. Visitation will be hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Crist Cemetery in Ashton, WV.
