Walter Harlown Barrett, Jr. 49, of Vinton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, December 15, 2023. He was born June 16, 1974, a son to the late Walter Barrett, Sr. and Terry Lambert. Walter loved sitting around the fire with family and friends, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes.

He is preceded in death by, Son; Austin Barrett, Parents; Walter (Terry) Barrett.

Walter is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Joy Barrett of Vinton, Daughter; Shawna Farley of Parkersburg, Son; Johnathon Farley of Gallipolis, Brother; Michael (Kim) Barrett of Vinton, Sister; Alina (Dean) Colwell of Vinton, Grandchildren; Braylon and Carter Farley, Destin Wagner, Owen Barrett and Josiah Farley. Uncle Boogie loved all his nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
