Vivian May Endicott, 88, of Point Pleasant WV, went home to be with the Lord Saturday February 6, 2021, at Arbors in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born November 12, 1932 in Logan County, WV, to the late Alton and Elsie Asbury. Vivian loved her family, friends and church dearly. She attended Addison Freewill Baptist Church for 49 years. She used her many talents to bring joy and inspiration to others. She sang in numerous choirs and groups throughout her life, sometimes accompanied by playing the guitar, when the church she attended no longer had a piano player, she taught herself how to play. When her daughter went to college, she too returned to school completing several writing courses. Afterwards, she became a published author of poetry and short stories. In her late twenties she had bravely donated a kidney to her brother Eldred. Everyone who was blessed to know Vivian loved her and many considered her a strong Christian role model.

Preceding her in death besides her parents, was her brother Eldred Asbury, sister-in-law and Brother-in-law, Virgil and Gloria Endicott, and Brother-in-law, Russell Endicott.

She is survived by her loving husband Elmer Lee Endicott Jr. of Point Pleasant, WV, daughter Mareva (Chris) Page , one granddaughter Kylee Page, Powell Ohio, Sister-in-laws Mavis Endicott and Daisy(David) Reid, three nieces, Rita (Mitchell) Mace, Jenny (Alan) Moore, Kathy (Tom) Brown, three nephews, Johnny Endicott, Charles (Donna) Endicott and Alan (Alisa) Asbury, special friends Rick and Debbie Barcuss.

There will be a service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday February 10, 2021 at Deal Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Barcuss officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Pea Ridge, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday. For everyone's safety social distancing and face masks are required. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, is serving the family.
