Virginia Amandaline Watterson McQueen Alford, 75, of Apple Grove, WV passed away July 8, 2020. She was born July 12, 1944, in Mason County, WV, a daughter to the late Arnold and Aileen Watterson. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Russell McQueen; son, Troy McQueen; brother, Edward Watterson; and second husband, Wendell Alford.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela Nowlin and Tonya McQueen; grandchildren, A.J. (Nikki) Powell, Chris (Crystal) Spears, Darren (Nichole) McQueen, Trent (Sarah) Doss, Troy Doss, Donovan Nowlin, Nathan McQueen, and McKenzie McQueen; great-grandchildren, Ali Powell, Eli Powell, Christopher Spears, Cameron Spears, Aubrey Spears, Aliyah Spears, Bryson Spears, Braydon McQueen, Logan McQueen, Myah McQueen, Brynlee Doss, Owen Doss, and Jayse Doss; and many friends who loved her dearly.

Graveside services will he held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 11 A.M. at Apple Grove Memorial Gardens with Pastor Charlie Langdon officiating. Friends may visit the family from 10:30 - 11 AM at the graveside. As per the Governor's mandate, social distancing guidelines will be followed and face masks are recommended. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Moore's Chapel Youth Fund. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
