Viola McDade, 89, of Leon, WV, went home to be with the Lord while at Pleasant Valley Hospital, April 17, 2018. She was born August 1, 1925, in Mason County, WV, a daughter to the late James McClure and Mattie Harris McClure. She was a homemaker and attended Krebs Chapel Church. She especially enjoyed spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James & Mattie McClure; husband, Robert "Bob" McDade; daughter, Margie Hart; granddaughter, Sabrina McDade; and great-grandchildren, Alexis Warden and Damon Wilson; brothers, Raymond "Fred" McClure, Wayne McClure, Junior McClure; sisters, Audrey McClure, Delores Nelson, and Daisy Durst.

She is survived by her sons, Robert "Buck" McDade of Leon, Roger (Debbie) McDade of Southside, WV, David McDade of Point Pleasant, WV; daughters, Joyce Cheesebrew of Gallipolis, OH, Cheryl "Kate" Stone of Point Pleasant, and Patricia (John) Johnson of Gallipolis, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 1 PM, with Johnny Hayman officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery in Leon.
