Vernon "Dale" Steward, 66, of Glenwood, WV, passed away at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV, March 11, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 12, 1953, in Cabell County, WV, a son to the late Richard Alva Steward and the late Ernestine Edmonds Steward. He worked in the construction industry.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ernestine Steward.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Elver Steward of Glenwood; three step-daughters, Chrystal Barrozo of Glenwood, Tisha Beatl of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Stephanie (Tommy) Hesson of Kenova, WV; one sister, Loretta (Joe) Moore of Winfield, WV; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, extended family, friends, and neighbors. He will be greatly missed by all.
