Verna Lee Page, 76, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, which would of been her 55th Wedding Anniversary. She was born September 8, 1945, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Kenneth Gilmore or Ethel Floyd. Verna graduated from Hurricane High School and attend Marshall University receiving her master's degree. She retired from Kyger Creek High School, where she was a librarian. She also attended Christ Episcopal Church an sang in the choir. Verna enjoyed reading to children at the library and was an avid Marshall Alumni football fan.

She is preceded by; Parents, Kenneth (Ethel) Gilmore, Husband; James Page, Sister; Ramona Bradley.

Verna is survived by; Son, Chris (Mareva) Page of Powell, OH, Daughter; Kelly (Adonis) Jimenez of Grove City, OH, Sisters; Sandra Duke of Culloden, WV, and Mary Sharp of Silver Springs, FL, Grandchildren; Emiliano Paredes and Kylee Page. She will be missed by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30 ^th , 2021, at Deal Funeral Home Rev. Marie L. Mulford officiating. Calling hours will be an hour prior to service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family. Social Distancing and Facemasks are recommended for everyone's safety.
