Vannessa Lynn Plants, 42, of Glenwood, WV, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born June 9, 1976, to Michael Allen and Brenda Moore Allen. She had a big heart and was declared Mother by many, and will be fiercely missed.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Rodney Allen.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Allen Plants; three children, Tommy Allen, Harley McCaleb, Rebecca Fielder; step-daughter, Chloe Plants.She thought the world of grandchildren, Rylen, Barb, Paisley Fields, and Jayda McCaleb; grandparents, Josephine and Jennings Moore; sisters, Tashawnda Allen, Alissa Terry, Michelle Kinder, Chastity Mayes, Tabitha Starky, Shyanne Allen, Tuesday Allen; step-mother, Donna Allen; brothers, TJ Diamond, Joshua Hutchinson; special sisters, Jessica Allenand Jamie Saxton; aunts & uncles, Lisa Allen, Wayne Allen, Pamela Edmonds, Patricia Moore, Annette Moore, and Donna Moore. She has many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, family, and friends.

Services will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 1 PM with Edwin S. Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Glenwood, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 12-1 PM prior to the service on Saturday.
