Thomas Russell "Russ" Ramsey Sr, 64, of Letart passed from this life Friday, May 14, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born April 13, 1957, in Charleston, WV to the late Emory and Claudine Sue Ramsey. Thomas was a long haul truck driver for many years, followed by working as an operational engineer for the last 12 years of his employment, and was well known locally as a farm equipment mechanic. He was a friend to most, and helped anyone in need to the best of his ability.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents; Emory and Claudine Sue Ramsey.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jeannette (Durst) Ramsey; son, Thomas Russell (Ellen) Ramsey, Jr; two grandchildren, Olivia and Tommy; brother, Wayne Ramsey of Cottageville; sister, Suzann (Dean) Fields of Cottageville. He will be missed by many extended family and friends, especially his fur baby's sissy and peaches.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Monday, May 17th, 2021 at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with Pastor Dwight Baker. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
