Stanley Hamrick Doss, 85, passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2026, at Rivers Health is Point Pleasant, WV. He was the son of the late Phillip Hensley and Mary Evelyn (Johnson) Doss. Stanley was born on September 2nd, 1940, in Arlee, WV.

Stanley was well known for his love of the outdoors through his avid farming, fishing and hunting.  He loved to spend time with his family and friends and was a 32nd degree Master Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Mary Doss as well as his loving wife, Sharon Lynn (Caudill) Doss, his son Kirby Griffin Doss and 11 siblings.

Stanley is survived by his sons, Keith Brian Doss, Kent Allan Doss and Kurt Monroe Doss (Kristi L. Doss) his grandchildren, Brooke Elizabeth Wood, Brittany Lynn Doss, Kelsey Ann Doss, Nicole Beth Taylor, Tyler Lee Doss, Justin Monroe Doss and Emily May Doss, as well as 13 great-grandchildren and his brother, Bruce Doss and many friends.

A service will be held Sunday, June 7th at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV at 4:00 pm with visitation two hours prior to the service. Minister Jeremy Simpson will be officiating with guest speaker Derek Lee.
