Stanley Eugene "Stan" Chapman, a beloved father, grandfather, and proud Army veteran, passed away peacefully on November 25th at the age of 75.

Born on May 29, 1949, in Point Pleasant, WV, Stan served his country with honor in the United States Army. Throughout his life, he remained a proud veteran, embodying the values of service and dedication.

Stan was known for his unwavering love for his family, his kindness, and his strong work ethic. He was a pillar of strength and compassion to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lora Chapman; his mother, Marceline Robbins Schultz; his father, Stanley Chapman; his granddaughter, Brooke Entingh; and his siblings, Gary Schultz, Vance Schultz, and Karen Schultz Hall.

He is survived by his children, David "Pete" Chapman, Samantha Chapman, and Shawn Chapman; his grandchildren, Corey Andrix, Aryn Chapman, Kaci Russell, Shawn Chapman, and Addyson Chapman; many great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Roger (Bev) Schultz, Bessie Fields, Millie Duncan, Charlie Grimes, Eddie (Dodie) Grimes, Margie Grimes, and Kelly (Scott) Schultz Ferguson.

Stan will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, kindness, and service will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday January 10, 2025, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.  Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
