Sidney E. "Eddie" Huddleston, III, 76, of Apple Grove, WV passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Emogene Dolin Hospice House in Huntington, WV. He was born January 29, 1948, a son to the late Sidney Huddleston, Jr and Mary "Francis" McDonald Huddleston. Eddie served in the United States Army and in the Marines. He worked for over 54 years in the Painters Union, where he was very proud of his work and proud to serve his country.  Eddie was an outdoorsman and all around handman.

He is preceded in death by, Parents; Sidney (Francis) Huddleston, Jr., Wife; Johanna Huddleston, Son; Christopher Huddleston, Brother; Stephen Huddleston.

Eddie is survived by his children, ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He also leaves behind one brother, five sisters and several nieces and nephews. Eddie will be missed by many extended family and friends.

The family would like for any donations be made to the Emogene Dolin Hospice House in Huntington, WV or the Wounded Warrior Project, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), the Semper Fi & America's Fund, the Purple Heart Foundation, and the National Veterans Foundation in honor of their father.

Per his request there will be no service. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
