Shirley Hall, 70, of Southside, WV passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born February 3, 1952, a daughter to George Stapleton and Josephine Rice. Shirley loved to read and work logic puzzles.

She is preceded in death by, Parents; George (Josephine) Stapleton.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Larry "Squeaky" Hall of Southside, WV, Daughters; Sherry Kay Hall of Gallipolis Ferry, WV and Kristina (David) Marcum of Huntington, WV, Five Grandchildren; Brittany and Jennifer Patterson of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Emily Harbor of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Kelly Harbor of South Point, OH and Eli Marcum of Huntington, WV, Two Great Grandchildren; Maddalynn Shamblin of Gallipolis Ferry, WV and Haydin Marcum of South Point, OH. She also leaves behind sisters, Geogria "Anna" Baker of Troy, OH, Bonnie Melton of Wooton, KY, Kathy Woyan of Point Pleasant, WV, Marsha (Jim) Plants of Apple Grove, WV, Kris (Tim) Shull of Southside, WV, Rosalee (Carter) Smith of Gallipolis Ferry, WV and Holly (Mike) Casey of Apple Grove, WV, and Brother; Gerald "Jerry" Stapleton of West Milton, OH. Shirley will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Celebration of life will be held on September 10th, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Barton Chapel Fellowship Hall on Barton Chaple Road in Apple Grove, WV. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
