Shirley "Kay" Collins, 74, of Glenwood, WV left her earthly home on February 13, 2024, to take the hand of her heavenly father and the love of her life, Tiney Collins, meeting where the dirt road ends on Tiney Ridge Farm and the streets of Gold begin to join together forever, once again in heaven, a place of perfect peace and rest in the paradise of God.  She was born February 2, 1950, a daughter to the late Dave Call and Bernice Jeffers.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Tiney Collins, Mother; Bernice Jeffers, Father; Dave Call, Sisters; Candy and Sandra Smith, and Brother; Dave Call.

Kay is survived by her close friend, John Boardman, Son; Michael (Alisha) Collins, Daughters; Carolyn (Terry) Ferguson and Lisa (Saad) Sabir, Son-in-law; Rick Vorwerk, Grandchildren; Brayden Collins, Todd Collins and Richard Vorwerk. Kay also leaves behind four great grandchildren and her loving pet Bandit. She also is survived by brothers; Ronnie Call, Roger Call and Ricky Call, Sister; Patsy Woody.

Kay found happiness in going dancing, growing flowers and growing a vegetable garden. She was an amazing daughter, wife, mother and friend. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.

At her request there will be no service, she will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
