Sherry Yvonne Brumfield Hughes, 56, of Ashton, WV entered Heavens gate on January 16th, 2018 after battling a long illness.  She is survived by her husband of 39 years Bill Hughes and son Billy Hughes Jr, of Ashton, WV.  The loves of her life and center of her world, granddaughter Sumer Hughes, and grandson Javen Hughes, of Milton, WV.  Her parents Alberta and Ronald Watts of Lesage, WV.  Two sisters, Tammy Watts and Marty Watts Kingery of  Greenbottom, WV and half brother, Terry Bowen of Glenwood, WV. Along with a host of loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as her fur baby Yorkies, Frankie and Rosie.

Sherry was born on Oct 24th, 1961 and later attended Point Pleasant High School.  She loved people, never met a stranger and had a smile for everyone, which called her to work in retail including Hill's, KB Toys, and Walmart. Sherry then spent her later years as a stay at home wife, mother and grandmother which she enjoyed wholeheartedly.

Arrangements have been made with Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV.  Visitation will be Friday Jan 19, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm.  Funeral will be held on Saturday Jan 20, 2018 at 1 pm with burial following at Ball's Chapel Cemetery in Ashton, WV.
