Sherman Payne, 63, of Glenwood, WV, passed away at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV, Friday, February 9, 2018, while surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 21,1954 in Cabell Co., WV., a son to the late Bud & Beulah Collins Payne. He worked as a construction worker and was s proud member of the Moore's Chapel Church Ashton, WV..

Besides his parents he was prececed in death by his Sister, Judy Payne, and his Brother, Ray Payne.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 Years. Sandra Payne, one daughter, Amanda (Steve) Grant, of Glenwood, WV. son, Aaron Payne of Apple Grove, WV. Daughter-in-law, Stacy Fields. Grandchildren, Conner Reed Payne, Wyatt Lee Grant, L;yla Fields, Logan Southall.
Also survived by brothers and sisters, Freda Richardson,Shirley (Howard) Waugh, Linda (Ivan) Benson, Donald Payne, Jerry (Etta) Payne. Several Nices and Nephews and a host of friends who will miss him.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 2PM at the Moore's Chapel Chruch, Ashton, WV., with Charlie Langdon officiating, burial will be in the church cemetery. Friend may visit the family 12:00 Noon to 2:p.m. at the Church on Monday February 12, 2018.
