Sharon Smith, 59, of Point Pleasant, WV, passes away Saturday, January 28 ^th , 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in South Charleston, WV on September 9, 1963, a daughter to Margie Travis and the late Gifford Wedd. She worked many years as a cashier. Sharon also enjoyed crocheting.

She is preceded in death by, Father; Gifford Wedd, and Nephew; Brandon Stewart.

Sharon is survived by Children; Michael Hughes (Roslyn Bright), Cheryl (David) Fetty and Stephen Smith (CJ Scarberry), and Chris O'Dell, Mother; Margie Webb, Grandchildren; Jason Hughes, Devin Hughes, Elysa Fetty, Alex Fetty, Brya' Drummond, Brother; Gifford Webb, Jr., Sisters; Barbara Stewart and Cynthis Howard.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek, WV with Pastor Mark Polley officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Webbmean's Cemetery in Alum Creek. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
