Sharon Y. McCallister, 80, of Henderson, WV passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, at home following a long illness. She was born in Mason County on November 26, 1943, a daughter to the late French E. Casey and Weanotah Robbins Casey. Sharon was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Point Pleasant. She loved her church and the church family like her own family as well.

She is preceded in death by, Husband; Donald L. McCallister, Parents; French (Weanotah) Casey, Sisters; Janet "Blue" Hall and Barbara Ann Caudill.

Sharon is survived by, Daughter; Dee (Jeff) Harbrecht, Son; Don McCallister all of Henderson, WV, Granddaughters; Nicole (Josh) Jividen of Gallipolis, OH, Casey (Austin) McBeath of Point Pleasant, WV and Mitchell Harbrecht of New Haven, WV, Great Grandchildren; Ethan and Emma Jividen and Caleb McBeath and several other family members, neighbors and friends who will miss her.

Sharon truly loved her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren. She loved the times on Sunday dinners and afternoons of family time at the creek.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Deal Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Hendrixson officiating. Burial will follow at Beale Chapel Cemetery in Apple Grove, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on December 13, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Huntington. The nurses and staff there were very kind and helpful and the family greatly appreciates everything they did. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
