Seth A. Spencer, 44, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, passed away August 23, 2017, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born in Gallia County, OH, October 6, 1972, a son to the late James Spencer and Mary Henry Spencer of Gallipolis Ferry, WV. He attended Faith Gospel Church and was a maintenance worker. He loved the great outdoors, and was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping. He also loved tending garden with his son Jared.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Spencer.

He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Henry Spencer of;Gallipolis Ferry, WV; son, Jared Spencer of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; and sister, Dianna (Ryan) Durfee also of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; and one Nephew, Darren McQueen.

Funeral services will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, Sunday, August 27, 2017, at 1:30 PM, with Josh Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.
