Scott Allen Wray, 38, of Ashton, WV passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was born December 13, 1983, a son to Les Paul Wray and Betty Lynn (Jones) Wray. He graduated from Hannan High School, Class of 2003. Scott worked at Cabell Huntington Hospital for 17 years. Scott was very "Loved" by all that knew him. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family on vacations.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother; Elaine Wray, Maternal Grandparents; Betty (Paul) McDermitt, Grandpa; Franklin Jones Sr, Uncles; Wayne Wray, and Franklin Jay Jones Jr, Brother-in-law; Bill Thomas, Best Friend; Jonathan Woods.

Scott is survived by his loving wife of 12 years; Stacey Wray of Ashton, WV, Four Children; Addison, Bella, Callie, Whitney and Katie Wray all of Ashton, WV, Parents; Les Paul (Betty) Wray of Ashton, WV, Brother; Paul Wray of Point Pleasant, WV, Sister; Dina Thomas of Ashton, WV, Aunts; Delores (Bill) Gay of Ashton, WV, Barbie Patterson of Ashton, WV, Uncles; Bruce (Lynn) Wray of Ashton, WV, Richard Wray of Ashton, WV, and Jason (Kristin) Wray of Ashton, WV. Scott will be missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with Pastor Jonathan Pinson officiating. Burial will follow at The Wray Family Cemetery in Ashton, WV. Visitation will be Monday, January 3, 2022, at Deal Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Social Distancing and facemasks are recommended for everyone's safety.
