Sandra L. Baker, 54, of Point Pleasant, WV., passed from this life on July 3, 2017. She was born March 11, 1963 at Holzer Hospital, to the late Leonard Lee Reed and Ellen Louise (Plants) Teeter.

Besides Sandy's mother Louise, she is survived by her stepfather, Wayne H. Teeter. After her mom and Wayne married, Sandy traveled and attended school in several states and countries as an Air Force Brat. Sandy graduated from high school in Westerville, OH, while living with her dad Leonard Reed and stepmother Joyce Reed. She went on to have several careers in health care and the service industries.

Sandy is further survived by one son, James Patrick Grimes of Point Pleasant, and daughter and son-in-law, April and William Alexander and her three grandchildren, Kennedy, Liam, and Logan Alexander of Cordova, TN, whom she cherished, her sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Matt Musgrave of Point Pleasant, WV, niece and nephew, Leigh Ann Musgrave and Ian Musgrave of Point Pleasant, WV, step-brother, Johnny and Lisa Reid and step-sister Stephanie and Chad Bowman. And several aunts,
uncles, nieces and nephews. And the many kids who called her their adopted mom.

She is preceded in death besides her father, by her paternal grandparents, Leonard C. Reed and Naomi R. (Presley) Reed and maternal grandparents, James O. Plants and Bonnie A. (Coleman) Plants.

Services will be held at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 12 PM. Friends may visit the family on Friday, July 7, 2017, from 6-8 pm. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family. Private graveside service will be held at convenience of the family.
