Rosalie May McDade, 73, of Leon, WV, went home to be with the Lord May 27, 2020. She was born March 18, 1947, in Mason County, WV, a daughter to the late Merton Rollins and Bessie Devault Rollins. She was a legal secretary and administrative assistant to Judge David Nibert at the Mason County Courthouse until her retirement. She was a member of the Bethel Church in Leon, as well as administrator of the church cemetery. She was an avid reader. She was also an accomplished cook.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Merton and Bessie Rollins; beloved husband, Frank McDade; and sister, Bonnie Thomas.

She is survived by her son Michael (Lee Ann) McDade of Huntington, WV; daughter, Susan (Scott) Van Matre of West Columbia, WV; brother, James (Evelyn) Rollins; special furry friends, "Shorty" and "Foxy", as well as several nieces and nephews, friends, and neighbors. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at the Bethel Church Cemetery, Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 1 PM, with Pastor David Washington officiating the service. Friends may visit the family at the cemetery from 12-1 PM prior to the service. Online condolences can be offered at dealfh.com. Social distancing will be observed.
