Roberta Kathryn "Kathy" Long Pauley, 63, of Henderson, WV passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at home. She was born August 8, 1958, to the late Scott McDermitt Jr and Norma Mayes. Kathy graduated from Point Pleasant High School. She was a retired cook for AEP River Operations and a member to The American Legion Post 23.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; Scott (Norma) McDermitt Jr, Brother; James Scott McDermitt, and Uncle John C. Mayes.

She is survived by her husband Michael Pauley of Henderson, WV; Sister, Margaret (Gary) Atkinson of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Aunt, Kathleen Mayes of Henderson, WV, Ellen Doddroe of Ohio; Niece, Lori Sayamontry of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Stacey Rayburn of Gallipolis Ferry, WV. Kathy will be missed by many extended family, friends, and great nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. Visitation will be two hours prior to service. Burial will follow at Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant, WV. Social Distancing and Facemask are recommended for everyone's safety.
