Robert William Vanmeter Jr., 61, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away September 9, 2017, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant, WV. He was born March 8, 1956, in Gallipolis, OH, a son to the late Robert William Vanmeter Sr. and the late Kathleen Vanmeter. He was a farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Kathleen Vanmeter, and sister, Kathy Dalton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Teresa Vanmeter of Point Pleasant; sons, Michael Vanmeter of New Haven, WV, Danny Vanmeter of New Haven and Gabriel Vanmeter of Point Pleasant; daughter, Anna Stover and Adriane and Tad; and grandchildren, Keshawn, Maelynn, Little Tad, and Vivian. He will be sadly missed by all.

Memorial services will be held at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at 7 PM, with Sampy Hart officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
