Robert James Logan, 73, of Point Pleasant, WV, a proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, in Scenic Point Nursing Home in Millersburg, OH. He was born February 7, 1950, a son to the late William Sherman Logan and Mary Ann Johnson Logan. Robert joins the United States Army in 1967, where he served for 18 months in Vietnam and a full two years before retiring.

He is preceded in death by, Parents; William (Mary) Logan, Son; James Robert Logan II, Sisters; Shirley Patterson, Peggy Likens and Marie Loomis Collins, Brothers; Worthy Logan and infant brother.

Robert is survived by, Sons; Billy (Jessie) Logan of Point Pleasant, Johnnie Logan of Point Pleasant, Joshua Logan, James Patrick (Ciara) Logan of Vinton, Brandon Logan of Bidwell, CJ Logan of Ripley, Brandon Logan of Ripley and his world revolved around his youngest son, Timothy Hayman Logan of Gallipolis Ferry, Daughters; Ann (Tim) Dalton of Point Pleasant, Bessie Lee of Henderson and Angel Logan of Ripley, Sister; Emma (John) Long of Point Pleasant and Brothers; Clarence Eugene Logan and Gilbert Frances Logan of Point Pleasant. Robert also leaves behind several grandchildren. He will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. Burial will follow with a military graveside service. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Thursday, January 25 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
