Robert G. Hockenberry, 81, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at home. He was born August 3, 1942, a son to the late Harry Hockenberry and Mildred Oates Hockenberry. Bob graduated from WVU, where he became a Registered Pharmacist. He was the first pharmacist at PVH, where he worked ten years. Bob also developed pharmacy computers for hospitals in WV, KY, and Ohio. He also worked several pharmacies from Walmart, Holzer and Hockenberry before retiring in 2011. Bob also loved his sports, WVU being his favorite, and was a hand operator for the radio.

He is preceded in death by, Parents; Harry (Mildred) Hockenberry, Brother; Bill Hockenberry.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Margaret Hockenberry, Sister; Linda (Rodney) Lieving of Wilder, Ky. He also leaves behind his fur babies; Murphy and Mandy.  Bob will be missed by many extended family and friends.

There will be no service per Bob's request. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made in Bob's honor to Animal Rescue. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
