Robert C. Gerlach, 77, of Letart, WV, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, WV. Robert was born January 3, 1940 in Mason County, WV, a son to the late Clyde E. and Vella Howell Gerlach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Ann Gerlach, his sisters, Becky Burris and Elsie Gerlach and his brothers, Junior, Johnny, Ray and Gerald Gerlach. Robert retired from Kaiser Aluminum, Ravenswood, WV as manager of the maintenance department.

He is survived by his daughters, Connie Montgomery and Karen Sanders and his son, Robert Eugene Gerlach, his grandchildren, Dustin Montgomery, Brandy Marsee, Brittany Bertolotti, Tarah Gerlach and Julie Rollins, his sister, Ruth Wallenhaguht and his brothers, Harold and Sherman Gerlach.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Letart Evergreen Cemetery, Letart, WV with burial to follow. Friends may visit the family from 12:00PM-1:30PM at the Deal Funeral Home prior to the service. Please visit dealfh.com to send condolences to the family.
