Robert E. "Bobby" Jones passed away October 30, 2019, while at Abbeyshire Place. He was born January 19, 1952, in Ironton, OH, a son to the late Robert L. Jones and the late Genevieve Higgins Jones. He was a deckhand.

He is preceded in death along with his parents by,sisters, Georgiann Robbins, Katheryn Meadows, Betty Neville, and brother, Edward "Tom" Jones.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Stover of Gallipolis, Sheila Heib of Point Pleasant, WV, Linda Jones, and Connie Jones, both of Ironton, OH; brothers, Pat Jones of Ironton, Mike Jones of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews, friends, and neighbors. He will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, Monday, November 4, 2019, at 1 PM, with Pastor Joe Nott officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
