Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robbin Ann Bright, who left us on June 13, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on March 14, 1975, in Naugatuck, West Virginia, Robbin graced our lives with her warmth and kindness for half a century, leaving a mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Robbin was the beloved daughter of the late Alex Garnet (White) Marcum. She cherished her family deeply, her legacy is carried on by her husband of 23 years, Phillip Bright, and her two wonderful children: her son, Tyler Bright and her daughter, Chelsey Holman, (Maliek) Holman. Robbin was also a proud grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, Malakai and McKenna Holman, with whom she spent countless joyful hours, creating memories that will live on in their hearts forever. She also leaves behind her loving sister, Angela Chapman.

Throughout her life, Robbin was known for love of and dedication to her family. As a devoted homemaker, she created a loving and nurturing environment for both her children and grandchildren. Her passion for family was evident in everything she did, especially her grandchildren. Most that knew her would say her favorite thing in the world was spending time with her grandbabies.

Robbin was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Garnet, as well as her brother, Joey Marcum, and sister, Joyce Marcum.

In addition to her family life, Robbin was a person of quiet strength and character, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Although she did not seek the spotlight, her impact on the lives of others was profound. Her infectious laugh and kind spirit will be remembered fondly by her friends and community.

Viewing hours will be held at Deal Funeral Home, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and services starting at 1:00 PM with Pastor Leland Vanmeter officiating.  Burial will follow at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Southside, WV.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request contributions be made to Deal Funeral Home.

As we gather to remember Robbin, let us hold onto the memories we shared with her, our laughter, and our love. Though she has left this world, her spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her, guiding and comforting us in the days to come. Rest in peace, dear Robbin Ann Bright. You will be missed beyond words.
