Ricky Edward Johnson, 54, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away July 29, 2019. He was born July 31, 1964, in Mason County, WV, a son to the late Melvin Johnson and the late Laura Perry Jones. He was disabled.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert "Bobby" Johnson.

He is survived by his son, Travis Johnson of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; daughter, Hannah Johnson of Huntington; brother, Melvin "Weetsy" Johnson; sisters, Angie (Ernie) Sizemore, Cheryl (Possum) Spencer, Misty (Rusty) Lucas; nieces and nephews, Brandy McMillan, Jason Ritchie, Chelsea Johnson, Brandon (Erin) Perry, Tiffany (Chad Spurlock) and Bubba (Brittany) Spencer, and Hunter Lucas; great-nephews, Dezyl Spencer Karson Perry, Kylie (Jacob), Keedon, and Kiedon McMillan, and Brady Spurlock.

Only a graveside service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019, at 11 AM, at Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant, with Kathleen Slinker officiating. Burial will follow the service. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is serving the family.
