Ricky Dale Chapman, 47, of Gallipolis, OH passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Holzer Medical Center. He was born September 3, 1974, in Beckley, WV to the late Larry and Joyce Chapman. Ricky absolutely loved going to watch dirt track racing, auctions, driving his semi and goofing off with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Larry (Joyce) Chapman, First Wife of 11 years; Shanna, Life long Best Friend; Walt Lafferty, Father-in-Law; Roger Bennett, Twin Brothers; Larry Wayne and Gary Shane, and Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 5 years; Xanthe Chapman, Daughters; Bella Chapman, Katie Chapman, and Tia Hemsley, Brothers; Larry (Cindy) Chapman, Jeremy (Monica) Chapman, Special Cousin; Kenny (Denise) Chapman, Sister; Misty Bragg, Mother in Law; Joyce Bennett, Brother in law; Wayne (Christen) Bennett. Many young children known Ricky as "Uncle Rick" and a close bond with a special little boy "Braxton", who knew him as "Riiickyyy".

A funeral service will be at 8:00 PM on October 15, 2021, at Deal Funeral Home with Pastor Robert "Bud" Clonch officiating. Visitation will be three hours prior. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family. Social distancing and facemask are recommended for everyone's safety.
