Richard A. Penn, 75, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 28, 1951, a son to the late Timothy Dotson and Mildred Penn Wade. Richard loved to play golf at Riverside Golf Club in Mason, WV. He retired from AEP Mountaineer Plant after a long career.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Timothy Dotson and Mildred Penn Wade, Brothers-in-law; Michael Coy, Reginald Carson, and Sister-in-law Janice Ross.

He is survived by his Daughter; Cheryl Whitt, Granddaughter; Tayyler Whitt, both of Point Pleasant, Grand dog; Milo, Sisters; Ethel Carson, May Wade and Ann Wade, Brother; Robert (Sherri) Wade and Larry (Sonia) Wade, Brother-in-law; James (Dawn) Houchins of Columbus, Sisters-in-law; Cathy Ross of Columbus, Son in law; Michael Whitt. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and never met a stranger.
