Reba Lynn Matheny, 59, of Leon, WV passed away, Sunday, December 26,2021 at Holzer Medical Center after a short illness. She was born on June 17, 1962, a daughter to Goldie Miller. Reba loved her grandbabies, sewing, shopping with her girls, playing games especially the sock game, and loved collecting shirts. She was a cashier at Kmart for 19 years until it closed. She was currently employed at Dollar Tree in Gallipolis, OH, where she loved working there and talking to her customers.

She is preceded in death by Husband of 40 years; Dencil Matheny, Mother; Goldie DeVault, Maternal Grandparents; Willie (America) Miller.

Reba is survived by her three children; Angela (Jeremy) Eddy of Leon, WV, James (Jessica) Matheny of Point Pleasant, WV, and Amanda (Lucas) Gill of Leon, WV, Brother; Blane Miller of Ormond, Florida, Niece; Ashley (Brian) Noble of Columbus, OH, Great Niece; Tiffany Higgins of Virginia Beach, VA, Great Nephew; Cody Logan of Columbus, OH and Cale Noble of Columbus, OH, Great-Great Nieces; Myla Higgins of Virginia Beach, Va and Paisley Bowman of Columbus, OH. Reba "Loved" spending all her time with her grandbabies, they're her world and each one of them had a special meaning to her. Karly always gave Mama the BEST back scratches and French braided her hair for her, Nic- Mama loved his smile, Xavier is Mama's "Angel Baby", Ryan was her comic relief, Rissa G. was a great addition to the family, always fits in perfectly, Leah is her "Princess", Landyn is Mamas onery one, Layla is Miss Sassy Pants, Dylan and Noah has always been Mama's Sidekicks, always by her side, Laney called her mama with the white hair, Mason is Mama Babyboy and Piper is Mama baby girl. Mama had a special bond since birth and has always helped with the two youngest grandbabies: Mason and Piper. Reba also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews from the Matheny family and a special sister-in-law, Ivy Molze.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with Pastor Doug Garten. Visitation will be two hours prior, and Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Leon, WV. Social Distancing and Facemasks are recommended for everyone's safety.
