Nova "Jean" Burdette, 95, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away October 30, 2019, while at PVH Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born July 6, 1924, a daughter to the late Walter Harris and the late Mae Harper Harris. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family, as well as a accomplished cook.

She is preceded in death with her parents Walter & Mae Harris, by husband, Ezekiel Burdette; and son, Ervin Thomas.

She is survived by her loving grandsons, Eric (Summer) Thomas of St. Petersburg, FL, and Stanton (Charice) Thomas of Fredericksburg, VA; and great-granddaughters, Haleigh Thomas of St. Petersburg, Kylee Thomas of Fredericksburg, and Priscilla Thomas also of Fredericksburg; and a host of extended family, friends, and neighbors.

At her request there will be no visitation. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, is serving the family.
