Nancy Sue Short, 70, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away on January 22, 2020. She was born February 25, 1949 in Mason County, WV, a daughter to Loretta "Carolyn" Sayre and the late Bud Sayre. She was a graduate from Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1967 and an active member of Point Pleasant American Legion Auxiliary and The Point Pleasant Woman of The Moose. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching her grandchildren play ball, and cheering on the WVU Mountaineers.

She is Survived by her Husband of 41 years, Bill Short; Daughter - Alissa (Rich) Reymond; Sister - Donna (Jack) Cheesebrew; Grandchildren - Heather (Josh) Strehle, Christopher Lewis, Morgan, Marli, and Tyler Reymond; Great Grandchildren - Alexis Jones, Abel Lewis, Leiland Strehle, and a baby boy yet to be born; Nieces - Megan (Josh) Sayre, Haley (Ryan) Sullivan, Lesley Hall; Great Nieces and Great Nephews - Taylor Hall, Chandler, Madalyn, Brooklyn, and Brittlyn Sayre; Mother In-Law - Donna Short; Sister In-Law - Sherry (Roy) Mayes and family
She also had many friends! She will be deeply missed by all that knew her!

Funeral services will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 1 PM. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 11-1 PM prior to the service.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
