Maud Lynn Gill Connolly, of Leon, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 2, 2018 in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, WV. She was born and raised on the Gill timber and dairy farm on Gill Ridge Road in Mason County, WV. "Skip" as she was known, was the youngest daughter of the late Clarence R. and Kathryn Roush Gill. Lynn was a long time active member at the Eddy Chapel Church in Mason County, WV. She was active with her late husband in music festival events since the 1940's. She and her late husband also shared many business ventures. She enjoyed trips to the mountains, fishing, and visiting with family and friends.
Lynn is preceded in death by her husband of almost 57 years of marriage, L. Bernard Connolly; her parents, Clarence and Kathryn Gill; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Sylvia Connolly; an infant son, David Connolly; and a brother, George Gill.
She is survived by her four sons, Richard L. Connolly, Michael L. Connolly, Charles R. Connolly, and Randall J. Connolly; sister, Verda Gill Davis; grandchildren, Carrie (Aaron) Connolly Yost, R. Lee Connolly, Brian (Shelley) Connolly, Nathan (Jennifer) Connolly, Sonya (Zach) Connolly Bolin, and Cody Connolly; her great-grandchildren who gave her so much enjoyment, Chantel (Brandon) Bauer Goeglien, Evin Bauer, Dakota Connolly, Shayna Connolly, Chase Connolly, Olivia Connolly, Violet Connolly, Makenna Connolly, Jeyce Connolly, Kaleb Bolin, and baby girl Bolin on the way. She is also survived by a great-great-grandson, Connor Goeglien; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Mom/Mamaw will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 6, 2018, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, at 1 PM, with Johnny Hayman officiating. Burial will follow in the Eddy Chapel Cemetery in Leon. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 11-1 PM prior to the service.
