Matthew Scott Chapman, 31, Apple Grove, passed away, Sunday May 2, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, WV.

He was born November 29, 1989, in Cabell County, a son of the Angela Chapman.

Matthew is proceeded in death by his grandparents Bertice and Marie Meadows and one great grandmother.

He is survived by a daughter Kloe Chapman of Lincoln County; mother, Angela Chapman of Apple Grove; stepfather, Jeffrey Cremeans of Apple Grove; sisters, Jessica (Justin) Wray of Ashton and Sierra Baird of Apple Grove; Uncle, Dale Shirley(Cowan) Chapman, of Apple Grove; Aunt, Kimberly Chapman of Apple Grove; Nieces and Nephew, Nevaeh, Danielle, Chelsea and Kyson Wray of Ashton. Matthew will be missed by many extended family, friends and his fur baby Kato.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, May 10, 2021, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, with Pastor Jim Short Officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
