Mary L. Willet  92, of Point Pleasant, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 7:20 a.m. with her family by her side.  She was born June 9, 1928 in Point Pleasant, WV to the late Ira and Delia Shamblin. Mary attended Point Pleasant High School. She worked on a dairy farm for many years. She loved feeding the birds, working puzzles, attending auctions and flea markets. Mary was also a member to The American Legion and Moose Lodge.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl Willet, granddaughter, Melissa Shamblin, great grandson Jaxson Rockey and several brothers and sisters.

Mary is survived by her sons, Robert Shamblin, and Ed Shamblin both from Point Pleasant, WV, three granddaughters Rebecca Dillinger and Chrisy Shamblin also know as Karlee Rockey both of Point Pleasant, WV and Alisha (Tommy) Reed of Point Pleasant, WV and her former daughter in law Mary Shamblin. She also had 10 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, whom she loved.  Mary also leaves behind her good friends Barry Halstead, Cecil Yosts and her fur baby Tiny.

A graveside service will be held Friday April 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Concord Cemetery in Henderson, WV, with Brian Ross officiating. Deal Funeral Home will be serving the family. Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required.
