Mary Jean Ross, 72, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away March 6, 2018. She was born October 5, 1945, in Mason County, WV, a daughter to the late Sheldon Hill and Ina Absten Hill. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, John P. Ross; son, Patrick L. Ross; and sisters, Kay Mayo and Betty Scott.

She is survived by her sons, John A. Ross of Point Pleasant, and Raymond L. Ross of New Haven, WV; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother, Sheldon B. Hill; and many extended family, friends, and neighbors. She will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, March 9, 2018, at 1 PM, with Pastor Mel Mock officiating. Burial will follow in Apple Grove Memorial Gardens, Apple Grove, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 11-1 PM prior to the service.
