Mary Louise Keefer of Point Pleasant, WV passed away on Sunday, July 15 at the age of 94. A lifelong resident of Mason County, she was the only child of the late Albert and Iva Cullen Boston. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl H. Keefer, in 2006.
An avid cookbook collector and wonderful cook, she enjoyed trying new recipes and serving them to her family. She also enjoyed tending her many house plants. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church for many years and also attended the Point Pleasant First Church of God.


She is survived by her children, Charles (Chuck) Keefer of Greer, SC, Jerri (Olen) Cross of Florence, SC, Carolyn Wood of Yukon, OK, and Patricia (Eddie) Lanham of Point Pleasant, WV. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robbie (Kim) Keefer, Jocelyn Keefer, Brian (Julie) Cross, Matthew Cross, Valerie Baker, Stanton (Shelley) Lanham, and Meredith Lanham and great grandchildren, Adams and Victoria Keefer, Grant and Camille Cross, Clinton Baker, and Charles Lanham.


Funeral services will be held at Deal Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, WV on Wednesday, July 18 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Carl Swisher officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens. The family will meet with friends and family from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
