Mary Esther Adams, age 47, passed over into Heaven peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2020, in her home. She was born May 22, 1973, in Point Pleasant to Terry and Romona Gray. She married Stephen E. Adams, II on August 29, 1992. Mary led a Christian life and was an extraordinarily strong woman. She led by example on what a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend should be.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dortha (Garnet) Gray, Ada Greenlee, and Wesley Weikle and best friend, Barbara Ash.

She is survived by her husband; her parents, Romana and Terry Gray; mother and father in law, Steve and Diana Adams; her children, Chelsi, Stephen, and Brandon; her daughter-in-law, Santana; her son-in-law, Nathan; her grandkids; Eleksyria, Timothy, and Elijah; two brothers; five sisters; nieces; nephews; countless other family and friends; and her dog, Bella.

A graveside ceremony will be held at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 1 PM, with Reverend Dave Kopp officiating. Friends may visit the family from 12 - 1 PM at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you help out someone in need. Whether it is by donating money, helping someone with work, bringing food in, comforting others during sorrow, or doing acts of "pay it forward,"  Mary was a very "help others out" person. She would be pleased to know that she is being remembered by others completing acts of kindness. Social distancing will be enforced and face masks are encouraged.
