Marvin "Randy" Gardner, 69, of Gallipolis, OH passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Doctor's West Hospital in Columbus, OH after a short illness. He was born June 16, 1953, a son to the late Marvin Gardner and Eva Shoemaker. Randy was currently employed by EM Plant Services and a member to International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 132. He enjoyed hunting mushrooms, fishing and he loved hunting, deer season was his favorite time of year.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Tammy Gardner, Parents; Marvin (Eva) Gardner, Brother; James Gardner, Sister; Tulcia Cremeans, Grandson; Brody Gardner.

Randy is survived by his children, Jermy (Clarissa) Gardner of Gallipolis, OH, Cassie Gardner of Gallipolis, OH, Granddaughter; Javan Gardner of Gallipolis, OH, Brothers; Billy (Jenny) Gardner of Gallipolis, OH, Ernie Gardner of Gallipolis, OH, Sisters; Betty Clark of Gallipolis, OH, Teresa (Mike) Little of Middleport, OH, Denise Williams of Jackson, OH and Julia James of Gallipolis, OH. He will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with Pastor Bud Clonch officiating. Burial will follow at Reynolds Cemetery in Addison, Ohio. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
