Mark "MJ" Schweikert, 38, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2025. Born on August 3, 1986, MJ was cherished for his kindness, warm heart, and infectious smile that brightened the lives of everyone he met.

He is survived by his loving parents, Mark Schweikert and Tina (Harkins) Schweikert; his stepfather, Ronald Brewer; his sister, Jordan Schweikert; and numerous extended family members who held him dear.

MJ was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl Allen Schweikert and Carol Savannah Hint-Sweazy; his maternal grandparents, John Henry Harkins, and Harriet Marie Harkins; and his uncle, Jeremiah Hugh Harkins.

Known for his giving spirit and unwavering positivity, MJ had a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around him. A devoted son, brother, and friend, he deeply loved his family and touched countless lives with his compassion, generosity, and kindness. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of MJ's life will be held at the Vinton Town Hall in Vinton, Ohio, with details to be announced by his family. All who wish to honor his memory are warmly invited to join in commemorating his life.
