Luca Kai Harris left us to join the stars on June 22, 2018. The 38 weeks he was carried by his mother and the short 4 months and 2 days he shared his love with the rest of the world were well spent.

He is survived by his mother Amanda Rae Harris and older brother Logan Jace Harris. He is also survived by grandparents James S. Harris and Angelia Harris, great-grandparents Michael and Brenda Green, great-grandfather Danny Howell, Uncles Steven and Matthew Weddington, James A. Harris, and Aunts Samantha (Patrick) Nolot and Andramada Arnott. Along with an abundance of friends, family, and other loved ones.

He was preceded in death by great grandmother Gwendolyn Howell.

During his short time on Earth, Luca touched the hearts of all persons that had the wonderful pleasure of meeting him. While he was with us he loved to sing and dance with his momma, have bath time, watch his big brother play, drink all the milkies his little belly could handle, chew his hands, jump, and most importantly be cuddled. His legacy will live on through the donation of his heart valves.

A memorial service will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, Friday, June 29, 2018, at 1 PM, with Pastor Ted Nance officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 11-1 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in his name to American SIDS Institute.
